Phoenix University to Host Back to School Events

The University of Phoenix Omaha Campus is set to host back to school events at six Club locations in early September. At each event, representatives from the University will provide information on the many benefits of seeking a college education to both Club members and their parents. Drawings will also be held for items such as backpacks and laptop.
The schedule of events is as follows:
- 6 pm – 7 pm:
- University of Phoenix informational sessions about the benefits of a college education.
- Entries for backpack giveaway drawings.
- 7 pm – 7:30 pm:
- Information about the partnership between the University of Phoenix and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and the struggles and benefits of going back to school as a working adult.
- Drawings for backpack and laptop giveaways.
