Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands (BGCM) has partnered with Omaha Public Schools (OPS) for several years on many different programs for students. In 2003, BGCM partnered with OPS and was the lead agency for a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CLC) program locaed at the old Mount View Elementary.

Because of the success of these partnerships, OPS asked if BGCM would be interested building a Club attached to the newly planned Mount View School. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands and OPS agreed and the new Club was built on to the school in 2006.
