Planned Giving

A Foundation for the Future

Welcome, the Boys & Girls Clubs offer positive alternatives to children who are surrounded by negative influences, showing them how to live successful and productive lives. Since 1961, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, Inc. has provided safe havens for young people by offering quality programs and critically important relationships with nurturing and reliable adults.

Your support through a planned gift will ensure that future generations of our children will have the opportunity to live successful and productive lives in a safe, positive and caring environment.

Planned Gifts that can help Boys & Girls Clubs:

The Bequest
The charitable bequest allows a way for almost anyone to outline their specific philanthropic wishes. Today, the bequest is the most utilized form for supporting a charity in the United States. Your bequest can take on many forms including a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or can be in the form of an asset.

Life Insurance
A gift of a paid-up life insurance policy can be made by designating the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands as the owner and beneficiary of your policy. You will receive a charitable income tax deduction that, in most cases, is equal to your cost basis in the policy.

Gifts that Generate Income for You
The benefits of planning your charitable gifts compound when you utilize one of a number of strategies that generate income as well as provide other benefits.

Gift Annuities are a wonderful way for your gift to generate income for the donor. The annuity is actually a contract between Boys & Girls Clubs and the donor. It states that part is a gift and part is annuity. In addition to the annuity payment, the donor receives a charitable income tax deduction and a potion of each annuity payment may be tax free.

Deferred Gift Annuities are similar to gift annuities in that there are current tax benefits but they defer or delay payments until you or a designated loved one reaches retirement age.
